Create an Accountability Plan

As described in the video, one way to ensure that you are being transparent about the process and outcomes is to plan ahead. By answering the following questions, you can begin to create your own accountability plan to ensure you are prepared to share back with youth what was done with the feedback that they gave. This plan may evolve as you continue to make your CFC map, but we invite you to use this as a starting place. Answer the following questions below in a discussion post. We also suggest adding your responses to your CFC Map Guiding Document under the section entitled Accountability Plan

    • How will you share the decisions made and progress of the work back with the youth who worked with you?
    • How do young people WISH to receive this information?
      • Snail mail? Instagram? Text? Email? City or non-profit website?
    • Will you stay connected, or is this a one-time engagement?
    • Is there another opportunity for the kids to give input on the design, project, or report? A second engagement window?
