Schedule and Hold Partner Meeting 1

Collaborate with Partners · Partner Meeting 1

Congratulations! You are ready to schedule and hold Partner Meeting 1, a huge step in your CFC map making process.

We recommend a few steps as you prepare for your meeting:

  1. Review your list of map partners you created in 1.9 Asset Mapping to Identify Potential Map Partners. Edit and add to this list to ensure that it is created with equity in mind.
  2. Send out email invites to your partners. We have included examples of our partner emails in the Growing Up Boulders Originals folder in a document called GUB Partner Emails for Partner Meeting 1.  Feel free to borrow from our language where it is helpful.
  3. To help you prepare for Partner Meeting 1, we have created a spreadsheet in the Your Templates folder entitled, Partner Meeting 1 Documents to Print. Here you will find links to all of the documents we have provided to conduct this first meeting.

Important Scheduling Tip

When scheduling your partner meeting, be sure to allow 4-6 weeks for maximum participation. If you are struggling to get all stakeholders in one meeting, you can hold more than 1 meeting. However, we recommend that you send an email out after the conclusion of all meetings to all participants to create a cohesive community.

Important Reminder on Map Designer Selection

As a reminder, the selection of a map designer (or designers) is a VERY important step in your map making process. We suggest having the map designer chosen BEFORE Partner Meeting 1, and at the very latest, have them selected before your partners begin to share back youth generated data (described in Stage 3).
